Visit the lobby in the vintage Palace Hotel and shop for hand-sewn sweaters from Ecuador

Fiber Fest Pop Up Market!

Starting Saturday, September 7th, and continuing all weekend, visitors can explore an array of traditional sweaters hand-sewn by the indigenous people of Ecuador.

Meet Anita Davila and Sebastian Santander from Quito, Ecuador

Mother and son, Anita and Sebastian's family have been working with the indigenous villagers to sew high-quality sweaters and market them throughout the United States. They will both be in Salida to experience our unique Fiber Fest and witness our recognize wool.

Happy Hour from 5 - 7pm on Saturday

Join us for beer and wine and network with Anita and Sebastian to learn about the ancient traditions of using Alpaca wool to sew high quality and soft sweaters to ward off the col, wet winters in the Andean mountains.
